In this shocking thriller based on a true tale, graduate student Katie Armstrong's (Keri Russell) research into killer and cannibal Oliver Hartwin (Thomas Kretschmann) and his willing victim Simon Grombeck (Thomas Huber) leads to a dark journey into the men's twisted deed and tortured psyches. Attracted by their perfect fit of opposite desires, the two men carry out an unimaginable horror. And Katie becomes dangerously obsessed with their story.
