In this tragic historical drama, Italian director Marco Bellocchio reenvisions the notorious 1978 kidnapping and eventual murder of Aldo Moro (played by stage actor Roberto Herlitzka), president of the Democrazia Cristiana -- the most important political party in Italy at the time. But the real twist in the story is in the way Bellochhio tells it: through the conflicted eyes of one of Moro's female killers (Maya Sansa).
