Whoopi Goldberg and Danny Glover star as Mabel and Tom, an upper-class African-American couple living in the 1970s who discover racism literally in their own backyard in this comedy co-produced by Spike Lee. After Tom is promoted at his law firm, they move their family into a nearly all-white neighborhood, where they are clearly not welcome. What happens next is a testament to the force of willpower and the human spirit.
