An investment banker (Charlie Sheen) loses his job and his snotty columnist girlfriend (Denise Richards). When she leaves town, he decides to ghostwrite her advice column, turning it into a huge success and making the publisher (Angie Harmon) eager to explore more lucrative options. Sheen attempts to cover for himself by covering for his ex, but sparks fly -- leaving Sheen to discover what's truly important in life.
