Born from the grime of the Earth's pollution, a smog monster named Hedrah is wreaking havoc on Japan, battling the dogged Godzilla while spewing a poisonous gas that could spread to contaminate the rest of the world. Packed with a hip-for-the-time soundtrack, this 1970s sci-fi flick was the first Godzilla movie to show the legendary monster demonstrating his ability to fly by firing his breath toward the ground and propelling himself backward.
