Dashing Hollywood swashbuckler Errol Flynn stars as Irish-American boxer James J. "Gentleman Jim" Corbett, a former bank clerk turned prizefighter who became the world's first heavyweight champion and helped elevate the sport from a pastime to a skilled profession. Alexis Smith, Alan Hale, Jack Carson and Ward Bond also star in this 1940s biopic based on Corbett's autobiography and directed by Raoul Walsh.
