Members of British comedy troupe the Crazy Gang are hapless fish-and-chips vendors who find themselves accidentally transported, via barrage balloon, across the Channel and trapped behind enemy lines in this wartime comedy. The Nazis capture the men, who soon devise an outrageous plan of escape that involves tunnels and impersonating Adolph Hitler. Walter Ford and Marcel Varnel co-direct this film that stars Bud Flanagan and Chesney Allen.
