Gangster Story

In a departure from his usual comedic roles, Walter Matthau (in his feature-film directorial debut) stars as Jack Martin, a cunning mobster with ambitions to head up his own crime syndicate. Toward that end, he teams with a local gangland boss (Bruce McFarlan) to plan a daring heist, much to the dismay of Jack's concerned girlfriend (Carol Grace), who hopes to put her man back on the straight and narrow.
