When African-American cop Michael Rhoades (Mario Van Peebles) goes after bigoted police officers, he discovers an organized racist brotherhood on the force. With little evidence, the FBI won't help him, so Rhoades and his white rookie partner, Keith DeBruler (Josh Brolin), take matters into their own hands. Directed by Van Peebles and his father, Melvin, who co-stars, this intense drama also features J.T. Walsh and Stephen Lang.
