It's hard to make it as a comedian when you're buried under the weight of your legendary father's fame. When his Vegas show bombs thanks to his meddling father (Jerry Lewis), Tommy (Oliver Platt) heads for Blackpool, England, a town that still loves vaudeville, in search of inspiration. While there, he meets Jack (Lee Evans), a performer who's as funny as he is tragic. Tommy also discovers his dad isn't the original he claims to be.
