Film Noir Collection: D.O.A.
(1950)|
While on vacation in San Francisco, an accountant named Frank Bigelow (Edmond O'Brien) ingests a dose of lethal, slow-acting poison and begins a desperate search for the individual responsible for his impending death. This great film noir contains the brilliant twist of the "detective" trying to solve his own murder … before the fact. D.O.A. was remade years later with Meg Ryan and Dennis Quaid.
