During a boating trip with Angus's dad, a violent storm leaves Angus and his canine friend to drift ashore alone. With the help of his rugged survival instincts and one faithful yellow lab, the boy sets out on a harrowing trek through the Canadian wilderness. But will he survive long enough to make it home?
