Through dramatic reenactments, interviews and rare archival footage, this fascinating biography pays tribute to siblings Erika Mann and Klaus Mann, the openly gay children of acclaimed writer Thomas Mann. Fleeing Germany soon after Adolf Hitler took power in the 1930s, the pair set up shop in the United States, where they began the antifascist and artistic work they would embrace for the rest of their lives.
