A nerdy security guard with an insatiable interest in comic books wishes he were endowed with superpowers that would impress the object of his affections -- his next-door neighbor. After the laboratory he guards is looted and his partner is shot, he sees his opportunity and injects some spider serum into his veins. Voila! He becomes the Arachnid Avenger. Pass the can of Raid.
