Set in China during the Ming Dynasty's reign, Dragon Inn tells a tale of revenge and intrigue between imperial eunuchs. The film opens with the evil eunuch Tsao Siu Yan (Donnie Yen) ordering the offspring of his rival, Chow Wai-on (Tony Leung Ka Fai), to be exiled. Chow's lover, Yau Mo-yan (Brigitte Lin), saves the children and takes them to a tavern called the Dragon Inn. The group reunites … but with Tsao's henchman on their trail.
