Sgt. Joe Friday (the always-laconic Jack Webb, who also directs) and Officer Frank Gannon (Harry Morgan) hit the streets in the most popular detective TV series of the 1950s. In these four vintage episodes, the baby Jesus is stolen from a church's manger scene on Christmas Eve; a gang of drug-addled teens destroys a movie theater; obscene books and photos flood local high schools; and a standard hit-and-run case turns into murder.
