Dr. Dolittle

Funnyman Eddie Murphy portrays the titular San Francisco doc who regains his childhood gift for conversing with critters when he hits his head on the windshield of his car. Soon, his new ability leads to a business opportunity. When word spreads throughout the animal kingdom, his clinic turns into a virtual zoo overrun with sheep, horses, birds, rats, dogs and a suicidal tiger -- all suffering from an array of mostly comic maladies.
