When San Francisco detective Charlie Falon (Sam Elliott) finds his partner dead and the killer standing over his body, he beats the man to death and dumps the corpse in the river. Now the body's been found, and Falon's been assigned to investigate. He may already know the killer, but Falon will learn much about his partner -- and his department -- over the course of this probing thriller co-starring Esai Morales and Paul Sorvino.
