Deposited on the foggy island of Fang Rock to investigate a strange light, time traveler Doctor Who (Tom Baker) and his companion Leela (Louise Jameson) get pulled into a murky murder investigation. But whether the menace is the island's mythical beast or an alien invader remains to be seen. This episode originally kicked off the 15th season of the long-lived British science fiction series (the show ran for 26 seasons in all).
