The volatile world of African diamond trading sets the stage for five disparate stories in this compelling miniseries. The fuse is set when Sen. Joan Cameron (Judy Davis) loses her geologist daughter in a bloody massacre at an African mine. Cameron's hunt for answers leads her to a London diamond broker (James Purefoy) whose greed and wealth fuels violence half a world away. Derek Jacobi, Joanne Kelly and Louise Rose also star.
