Secluding himself in a small town to write, struggling novelist Ethan Poe (Jeremy London), a descendant of horror writer Edgar Allan Poe, strikes up a romance with local beauty Ann (Katherine Heigl), who is also a distant offspring of the famous author. But as Ethan and Ann's relationship progresses, dangerous Poe family secrets threaten them both. Kermit Christman and Del Tenney direct this thriller that co-stars Arie Verveen.
