Set in Kentucky and Virginia in the years before the American Revolution, this classic frontier drama features Fess Parker as famed pioneer Daniel Boone, a man who became one of the country's first folk heroes. In the show's first season, Boone is assigned to explore the Indian territory of "Ken-Tuck-E"; Boone's daughter (Veronica Cartwright) is kidnapped by Indians; and a redcoat (Michael Rennie) assumes Boone's identity.
