As their patriarch's health declines, a seriously dysfunctional Southern family scrambles to predict how their father's estate will be split up. His greedy grown children, Sara Lee (Tess Harper), Evalita (Beverly D'Angelo), Orville (Beau Bridges) and Lurlene (Amy Wright), have all come back to the family home to pay their respects, but they can't wait to get their hands on the all-important will -- which their father announces he's misplaced.
