When a dangerous criminal moves into a quiet suburban neighborhood, the police ask grizzled cop Jack Stone (Jack Palance) to set up a stakeout next door. The only catch is that Jack will have to live with the Robbersons, a quirky family led by a bumbling cop wanna-be (Chevy Chase). If the Robbersons don't drive him crazy, Jack just might be able to catch the bad guy in this comedy co-starring Dianne Wiest.
