The Cool Surface

After spending several months in isolation working on a play, a struggling writer named Jarvis (Robert Patrick) returns to Los Angeles, where he moves in next door to Dani (Teri Hatcher), an aspiring actress. Inspired by his beautiful muse and observing her at her most intimate moments, the playwright crafts a new work around Dani's persona. But when the play generates a movie deal, the tables turn -- and he's the object of her unyielding desire.
