Burgess Meredith narrates this eye-opening documentary that looks at America's rivers, which are susceptible to pollution and other human destruction because the Federal Wild and Scenic River Act protects only 1 percent of the country's streams. Waterways visited include South Carolina's Little Pee Dee; Virginia's Rappahannock; Texas' Rio Grande; the Penobscot in Maine; and the salmon-rich rivers of Washington state.
