It's also the setting of this charming coming-of-age rock musical from Richard Wong, who received an Independent Spirit nod as "Someone to Watch." With exuberantly clever lyrics and script by H.P. Mendoza and virtuoso cinematography and editing from Wong, this film is indeed one to watch.
