After a stint in prison, Sonny (Timothy Olyphant) returns to his coastal hometown, where life and the residents haven't changed very much, including local crime boss Vance, who owes Sonny a load of cash. When Sonny tries to collect, his home is blown up, his father is killed, and Sonny's forced to move in with old friends Dave and Ann (Josh Brolin and Sarah Wynter). A love triangle and small-town scenery flavor Victor Nunez's intimate piece.
