As the Nazis unleash their destructive fury on Europe, Prime Minister Winston Churchill helps rally the British with his trademark gumption, wit and eloquence, as evidenced in these archival recordings of his most famous speeches. Other vintage photographs and thoughtful recreations combine to etch this touching portrait, narrated by actor Orson Welles. The film was nominated for Best Documentary Feature at the 1965 Academy Awards.
