The City of Light serves as the backdrop for this historical drama that chronicles the tempestuous liaison between celebrated composer Frédéric Chopin (Piotr Adamczyk) and flamboyant feminist author Aurore Dupin (aka George Sand, portrayed by Danuta Stenka). A clash of artistic wills ultimately leads to a doomed affair and ensuing heartache not only for the lovers, but also for Sand's offspring. Jerzy Antczak directed.
