In 1979, British jockey Bob Champion's quest for the Grand National was sidelined when he was diagnosed with cancer. Told he might have only a few months to live, Champion never lost hope, winning the tournament two years later on a horse that had faced life-threatening challenges of its own. Award-winning actor John Hurt stars in this uplifting true story from director John Irvin.
