Fur flies in director Lawrence Guterman's live-action family comedy when Professor Brody (Jeff Goldblum) develops a vaccine that eliminates human allergies to all dogs. Resentful of dogs' status as man's best friend, the world's cats -- led by Mr. Tinkles (voiced by Sean Hayes) -- aren't about to let the vaccine out of the bag, placing Brody's new puppy, Lou (Tobey Maguire), in the middle of a long-running war that humans know nothing about.
