Brave patriot Violette Szabo (Virginia McKenna) helps defeat the Germans in this World War II drama based on R.J. Minney's biographical novel about the real-life heroine. When her husband is killed in battle, Londoner Szabo joins the British secret service and agrees to spy on the enemy -- even though it means being separated from her baby. Eventually captured and tortured by the Nazis, the intrepid agent refuses to betray the Allies.
