Adapted from Nina Bawden's beloved novel, this family-friendly drama chronicles the adventures of the Willow children, who've been sent away from London to the safety of Wales during the height of World War II. On an errand to fetch a Christmas goose, siblings Carrie (Keeley Fawcett) and Nick (Jack Stanley) come face to face with a local "witch" (Pauline Quirke), whose knowledge of the countryside stirs Carrie's imagination.
