When bookstore employee and mystery fanatic Wiley Roth (Colin Hanks) discovers a severed finger on his kitchen floor, he's determined to find the owner of the detached digit. Joining forces with his best friend (Fran Kranz) and his quirky dad (Tony Shalhoub), Wiley goes on the hunt. During their unusual quest, they run into a host of bizarre characters -- including a beautiful girl (Rachel Blanchard) with a mysteriously bandaged hand.
