Oscar-winning actor Gregory Peck stars in this adaptation of C.S. Forester's novel that chronicles the adventures of British naval Capt. Horatio Hornblower. The swashbuckling captain heads to Latin America, where he tangles with El Supremo (Alec Mango) and comes to the aid of a damsel in distress (Virginia Mayo). Christopher Lee, Robert Beatty, James Robertson Justice, Denis O'Dea and Terence Morgan co-star.
