John De Main conducts the Orchestra Sinfonica Nazionale di Malta, and Osvaldo Guidotti leads the Coro Lirico Aramus in this staging of Leonard Bernstein's comic operetta "Candide," a biting tale of one privileged man's fall from naive idealism. Based on Voltaire's timeless novel, the production was filmed at the Teatro Argentina in Rome and stars Robert Orth, Nancy Allen Lundy, Michael Slattery and Hilda Ramos.
