When a prominent groom (Norman Eshley) turns up dead on the eve of his wedding, 12th-century English monk and amateur sleuth Brother Cadfael (Derek Jacobi) is on the case. The guardian of the lovely -- but reluctant -- bride-to-be (Tara Fitzgerald) has also been killed, and questions surface about the groom's secret last-minute mission. Originally seen on the PBS series "Mystery!" this British drama co-stars Peter Copley and Michael Culver.
