Martin Sheen directs his son Charlie Sheen in a military "war of wills" story concerning a rebellious white recruit befriended by African-American prisoners at a West German Army base stockade. The elder Martin also stars as the edgy base commander, with his Apocalypse Now co-star Laurence Fishburne as the cellblock boss. Watch for Ramon Estevez (Charlie's older brother) and a guest bit by F. Murray Abraham (Amadeus).
