Richard Crenna stars as an old-school Colorado cowboy dealing with his frustrated grandson, who's been sent from Los Angeles to stay with him. Soon, the boy's behavior forces the wily old cowboy to send his grandson home, but on one condition: The boy must ride with him from Colorado to Los Angeles on horseback -- a journey that proves to be a valuable life experience for the naïve teen.
