But when hit men snuff the witness, Bullitt won't be stopped in his quest for vengeance. This classic 1960s thriller earned immortality in part for a memorable 100-mph car-chase sequence that saw two automobiles bottom out their shock absorbers roaring through San Francisco's hills.
