Plucked from her blissful nonexistence, Buffy mopes around without emotion and attempts to jump-start her passion by starting a relationship with vampire Spike (James Marsters). Meanwhile, Willow's (Alyson Hannigan) obsession with magic continues, and the others face their own demons.
