This legendary TV miniseries, based on Evelyn Waugh's classic novel of romantic yearning and loss, stars Jeremy Irons as Charles Ryder, an Oxford student who's drawn into a luxurious and hedonistic world when he becomes close with Sebastian Flyte (Anthony Andrews). Set between the wars in the glittering yet fading world of the British aristocracy, the series co-stars Sir Laurence Olivier as Sebastian's father, the Lord of Brideshead Castle.
