Set in the tumultuous 1960s, this dramatic miniseries follows the intertwining lives of six Catholic nuns in Australia. While the Vatican was reshaping the formalities of Church policy (called "Vatican II"), older nuns seemed more likely to follow the directions of their superiors, and younger nuns questioned tradition. Among the topics this miniseries confronts are birth control, abortion, divorce, premarital sex, interfaith marriages and more.
