Martin Scorsese sits in as executive producer for this costume drama from acclaimed director Pantelis Voulgaris. The date is 1922, and a ship with 700 mail-order brides from Armenia, Greece, Turkey and Russia is bound for American shores. The only thing would-be wife Niki knows about her future husband is that he's a tailor in New York. But her chance meeting with an American photographer sparks a romance that could change both their destinies.
