Brian Eno: 14 Video Paintings
(2005)|
Ambient music icon Brian Eno began his video career shooting New York cityscapes, aiming the camera out his window and hooking it up to his TV screen. Lacking a tripod, he positioned the camera on its side and turned his TV sideways to correct the picture, altering the image from a landscape perspective to portrait. This pictorial ode to Manhattan collects 14 of Eno's "paintings," set to an eerie, evocative soundtrack. (Note: Contains nudity.)
