Meanwhile, complications arise in Alan Shore's (James Spader) relationship with Judge Gloria Weldon (Gail O'Grady), and new attorney Katie Lloyd (Tara Summers) gets in over her head on her first case. William Shatner and Candice Bergen reprise their roles. Saffron Burrows guest stars.
