John Larroquette joins the law firm of Crane, Poole and Schmidt as new senior partner Carl Sack in the fourth season of David E. Kelley's Emmy-nominated series. Meanwhile, complications arise in Alan Shore's (James Spader) relationship with Judge Gloria Weldon (Gail O'Grady), and new attorney Katie Lloyd (Tara Summers) gets in over her head on her first case. William Shatner and Candice Bergen reprise their roles. Saffron Burrows guest stars.
