Rebecca Carlson (Madonna), a powerful, intelligent, successful and breathtakingly beautiful woman, is on trial for the murder of her wealthy, older lover, whom the D.A. (Joe Mantegna) is convinced died as a result of an intense lovemaking session. It's up to Rebecca's attorney (Willem Dafoe) to prove her innocence ... but when he becomes entangled in her web of erotic game-playing, he too may be endangered by her passion.
