One of the most admired teen idols of the 1950s, Bobby Darin was an esteemed singer who made the transition from the rock 'n' roll era to mainstream pop in the 1960s. His unfaltering success continued until his death in 1973. In this rare TV special taped in 1970, Darin welcomed guests Linda Ronstadt and George Burns and highlighted tunes such as "If I Were a Carpenter," "For a Long, Long Time," "Simple Song of Freedom" and many more.
