Before the 2004 election, young Democrat John Logue (Breckin Meyer) vowed to leave the country if George W. Bush won a second term. Realizing that his life is a shambles anyway, John makes good on his promise, teaming up with the like-minded Chloe (Anna Paquin) on a road trip to Canada that will challenge their beliefs -- political and otherwise. This wry satire takes on the divisions that emerged during the election and their continuing impact.
